These lakes have recently been stocked and have an
ongoing re-stocking programme by one of Kent’s finest
fish farmers Riverfield fish farm, (Monk Lakes).
We also have within the grounds a second lake, which we
use as a stock pond, which unfortunately is out of
bounds for fishing, but this does produce its own
natural species of quality fish for our main lake, the
two lakes feed into each other, flowing under the bridge
and over the steps.
The lakes are situated off road, with controlled
parking, security and CCTV, which makes it a safe place
within the environment, trouble free for all anglers to
come and fish with peace of mind.
We do encourage people to come and join us and our
members, to see for themselves that it is an enjoyable
place to visit and fish, also to come and enjoy the
surroundings and settings within the medieval castle
estate grounds.
